BARC Week 8: Sun TV retains the top spot in the across genre category

In the Week 1 of Broadcast Audience Research Council India data, SUN TV dominated the top spot in the across genre category with 3020.98 (000) AMA. Star Utsav jumped to the second spot with 2637.26 (000) AMA. Star Plus stood at the third spot with 2541.77 (000) AMA. Star Maa retained the fourth spot with 2461.24 (000) AMA followed by Star Vijay at the fifth spot with 1805.25 (000) AMA. Dhinchaak took a steep leap from 10th spot to 6th spot with 1794.06 (000) AMA compared to Week 52. Sony Sab retained its 7th spot with 1764.95 (000) AMA. Colors further dropped from 6th spot to 8th spot with 1752.99 (000) AMA followed by Zee TV from 8th spot to 9th spot with 1652.49 (000) AMA compared to week 52. Star Pravah is the new entrant in the top 10 list with 1617.21 (000) AMA at the 10th spot.

Hindi Speaking Market

In the Hindi Speaking Market, Star Utsav leaped from the second spot to the first spot with 2628.86 (000) AMA. Star Plus stood at the second spot with 2461.09 (000) AMA. Dhinchaak entered the top 5 run with 1776.36 (000) AMA at the third spot. Sony SAB retained its fourth spot with 1733.01 (000) AMA. Colors dropped from the third spot to the fifth spot with 1715.17 (000) AMA compared to Week 52.

South 

In the South channel category, the top 5 chart remains unchanged with SUN TV at the first spot with 3014.22 (000) AMA followed by Star Maa with 2399.01 (000) AMA at the second spot, Star Vijay with 1799.78 (000) AMA at the third spot, Zee Kannada with 1537.63 (000) AMA at the fourth spot and Zee Telugu with 1410.93 (000) AMA at the fifth spot.
