BARC Week 42: Star Maa shoots to top spot in across the genre, Sun TV claims second spot

BARC Week 8: Sun TV retains the top spot in the across genre category

Star Maa, the Telugu GEC from Star India emerged as the top channel in week 42 of BARC weekly data with 2626.19 (000) AMA. SUN TV which was at the first spot last week stood at the second spot with 2572.53 (000) AMA followed by Star Plus with 2529.05 (000) AMA. Star Utsav, which was at the sixth spot last week, claimed the 4th spot with 2312.31 (000) AMA. Colors, which was at the 7th spot in week 41, claimed the 5th spot with 1886.83 (000) AMA. Star Vijay which was at the 5th spot last week stood at 6th spot in week 42 with 1882.32 (000) AMA. Sony SAB claimed the 7th spot with 1873.35 (000) AMA followed by Zee Kannada with 1585.51 (000) AMA. Zee TV claimed the 9th spot with 1554.55 (000) followed by Sony Pal with 1487.49 (000) AMA.

Hindi Speaking Market (HSM)

Star Plus maintained the first spot with 2438.18 (000) AMA in the Hindi Speaking Market followed by Star Utsav with 2305.83 (000) AMA. Colors stood at the 3rd spot with 1846.3 (000) AMA followed by Sony Sab with 1821 (000) AMA. Zee TV took the 5th spot with 1504.49 (000) AMA.

South

In the South market, Sun TV claimed the first spot with 2563.59 (000) AMA. Star Maa maintained the second spot with 2550.8 (000) AMA. Star Vijay also retained the third spot with 1878.76 (000) AMA. Zee Kannada claimed the 4th spot with 1568.6 (000) AMA, followed by Zee Telugu with 1440.99 (000) AMA.
