Share Share ShareShare

The electrifying victory of India in the T20 World Cup has not only united the nation in a collective celebration but also ignited a wave of innovative marketing campaigns. Brands across various sectors seized this golden opportunity to engage with their audience through moment marketing, creating posts that resonated with the fervor and excitement of the nation.

A staggering 5.3 crore concurrent viewers tuned in on Disney+ Hotstar for the finals, marking the highest peak concurrency recorded for the tournament.

Brands harnessed creative strategies to make the most of India’s historic T20 World Cup win, crafting compelling and timely marketing messages that captivated millions. By tapping into the collective excitement, they created witty social media posts and emotional tributes, showcasing the power of moment marketing.

Flipkart  shared a humorous and engaging post celebrating the win, linking it to their own services with a clever play on words and visuals, emphasizing speed and victory. Blinkit created a fun and quick reel, drawing parallels between the quick service they provide and the quick wins on the cricket field.

Hellmann’sand SOCIAL celebrated the victory by launching a special “Hell of a Win” burger as part of their limited-edition menu, tapping into the moment to enhance their product appeal. Paytm Money shared an enthusiastic reel that creatively linked the excitement of the cricket victory to their financial services, engaging their audience with a celebratory tone.

Netflix India cleverly incorporated popular characters and shows into their posts, celebrating the win by drawing parallels between the thrill of cricket and the excitement of their content.

These highlight how brands effectively amplified their presence and built memorable connections with consumers, turning a national celebration into a unique opportunity for engagement and brand loyalty.

Sunfeast YiPPee!  – It’s YiPPee! Moment for India

Sunfeast YiPPee! extends its heartiest congratulations to Team India for their extraordinary triumph at the T20 World Cup. This historic win, coming after a long wait of 17 years, has filled every Indian heart with immense pride and joy. Sunfeast YiPPee! is thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion alongside their recent partnership with cricket legends Rahul Dravid, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav in their recently launched campaign, ‘YiPPee Toss’. Their spirit, dedication and excellence embody the very essence of the brand.

The recent sign off with the Indian Cricket icons, Dravid, Bumrah, and Suryakumar, and Sunfeast YiPPee! worked like a charm. The same excitement, energy and fun  was felt during this World Cup.

YiPPee! salutes the grit, determination and passion displayed by each player, making this victory a cherished memory for every Indian. May this victory inspire future generations and continue to bring glory to our nation.

Swiggy:
Swiggy Instamart has launched its latest digital ad film as a part of its “Yeh se leke woh tak” campaign featuring Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma. The ad is timed perfectly with India’s win in the T20 World Cup finals against South Africa.

The digital film features Indian cricket icon Rohit Sharma, dressed in his blue match-tracks, ready to leave for the next big match. He turns to his wife, Ritika Sajdeh, and heroically asks, “Toh phir aaj kya lau? Player of the match ki trophy ya bowling daalke 5 wicket lu?” Ritika, with an impressive breath, rattles off a never-ending list of party essentials – from soda crates and wafers to Bluetooth speakers and party poppers.

As the film progresses, Rohit has a eureka moment and effortlessly taps away on the Swiggy Instamart app, symbolizing the ease and convenience of ordering unlimited party supplies, delivered within just 10 minutes. The film brilliantly captures the essence of unending celebrations and the seamless experience provided by Swiggy Instamart. As the nation celebrates, Swiggy Instamart ensures that every party is well-stocked and every celebration is unforgettable.
