Mumbai: Chetan Jhawar has named Head of Hindi Original Movies at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. Prior to this role, Jhawar served as Lead, Hindi Original Movies at the company.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Chetan shared, “Thrilled to step into a new role as Head of Hindi Original Movies at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios.

Jhawar brings extensive experience across entertainment, content, and marketing, having previously worked with leading organisations including Netflix, Balaji Telefilms, Star TV Network, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Leo Burnett.
Over the years, he has developed expertise across television, entertainment, film production, marketing communications, content strategy, creative strategy, video production, and event planning.
The appointment comes as Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios continue to strengthen their focus on original movie content across theatrical and streaming platforms in India’s increasingly competitive digital entertainment ecosystem.
