Cipla Health’s Cipladine debuts on TV with the ‘Skin Ka 1st Aid’ campaign

Mumbai: Cipla’s consumer health and wellness arm ‘Cipla Health’ has launched its first-ever TVC for multipurpose topical antiseptic – Cipladine. The new TVC showcases Cipladine’s broad spectrum of action on cuts, wounds, burns, and skin infections positioning it as ‘Skin Ka 1st Aid’.

Featuring a quintessential Indian family, the ad conceptualized by Taproot Dentsu, lightheartedly but effectively explains how minor skin emergencies arrive unannounced, and that it’s always wise to be prepared for the worst. By arming your family with ‘Skin Ka 1st Aid’, Cipladine, Indian families can safely tackle all their skin problems. The narrative traverses through a symphony of screams and cries; culminating in crescendo chaos that can be placated through Cipladine. The ad will be broadcast across all popular Indian TV channels and digital platforms.

The recently housed skin ‘cure-all’ under the Cipla Health portfolio, effectively tackles infections due to cuts, wounds, and burns. Its key ingredient, Povidone Iodine a trusted active for over 6 decades, actively fights bacteria, viruses, fungi, yeast, and spores and it starts action within 30 seconds of application. It’s persistent microbicidal properties continue working for up to 12hours, aiding the healing process by keeping the affected area infection-free. (Lachapelle JM, Castel O, et al. ClinPract 2013).
