#On the Occasion of Children’s Day, National film Award-winning production house Bhargava pictures announces its “Srujanathmak Bharat “or “Creative India” Campaign:
National Film Award-winning Film Maker, Writer, Director, Author, Mentor, Creator, Ramayana Speaker Bhargava is coming up with a unique campaign called “Srujanathmak Bharat -Creative India” campaign which focuses on nurturing, empowering and encouraging creative talents through the medium of literature, animation, films, story sessions, workshops, community events and games.
Bhargava Pictures is a film production house that is actively engaged in content creation -both Live and Animation. The first ever animation feature film in the history of Telugu Cinema was produced under Bhargava Pictures in 2006 and won the Swarna Kamal at National Film Awards in 2009, the first to receive this award after the inclusion of animation film category in NFA. Currently, more than 25 titles are in the development stage both live and animation which will meet the audience very soon.
“We are living in a world where we need creative solutions for any problem – from daily chores to big ones! Kids are originally creative but they are now been pushed to stereotype lives in the name of curriculum and career! Its time we bring up humans not machines. The main objective of this Srujanatmak Bharat Campaign is to nurture this creativity among children. If they continue to think creatively, they can understand anything in their lives -be it career or anything, they can face any problems that life hurls on them and can find creative ways to overcome. In fact, this is not a new thing that we discovered now, but was there till some time back in our ethos, culture and in our tradition of education system as well. Our philosophy is to reconnect kids to those roots. Our strength lies in storytelling and creating content that is deep-rooted from the Indian ethos, Mythology, Folklore and History. They offer abundant source of creative inputs which we further explore through Gaming, Culture Theme Parks, Comics, Work Shops, Events, Social awareness camps and so on. In fact, we believe children can offer much better and sensible solutions to many problems in a simple and clear way” says Bhargava.
After Swachh Bharat and Swasth Bharat launched by our prime minister Narendra Modi which is to bring awareness among the masses to be clean and healthy which are the pillars of Nation Building, Srujanathmak Bharat could be another important aspect that plays an important role in the years to come- needless to say, today’s children are tomorrows citizens and its a great responsibility to safeguard their priorities.
“To achieve our goals we are planning to collaborate with various children’s organizations, NGOs , Animation & Film production companies, Schools, Institutions, Kids Brands, Corporate, Media Houses, Television Channels , OTT Platforms and other Digital Media as well. We are planning to reach to at least One Lakh kids in the first year . Bhargava pictures through this ‘Creative India’ Campaign want to appeal to the Govt of India to seriously consider the “Right to Right Entertainment” to children in India; we are willing work with GOI to achieve this. Its a responsibility and not a business. We should give them the Right and Relevant entertainment as against to the current trends in India. Nearly 15% of population in India are under the age of 15 years which is around 20 Crores and we hardly have 10 kids channels which air largely irrelevant content as per their wish and will , out of which more than 50% is pathetically non-desi! Our Mythology is so profound and entertaining that we can engage with our content for the next 100 years, but still unexplored! There is no dedicated Kids channel from the National Network as well. The case of OTT is also the same and needless to discuss about Youtube. Adding to that, India is producing over 1000 feature films in all languages every year, but in those, the share of children’s films is less than 1%! Its a serious point of concern and we hope like all other long-standing issues are being solved, the Government of India under the able leadership will surely address this issue too. Srujanathmak Bharat is the first step towards Creative India and we are quite clear and confident of the results in the year ahead” concludes Bhargava.
