CREX and Delhi Capitals set new standards in digital fan engagement with gamified IPL campaign

New Delhi: CREX has announced its partnership with Delhi Capitals as the Official Fan Engagement Partner for IPL 2026, setting new benchmarks in digital fan engagement through a first-of-its-kind gamified cricket experience. The collaboration focuses on transforming how fans engage with live cricket by introducing interactive, real-time experiences across all Delhi Capitals matches.

As part of the partnership, CREX powers a dedicated fan engagement format through interactive quiz-based contests integrated into live matches. Fans can participate for free, engaging with match moments in real time while testing their cricket knowledge and predictions. Participants stand a chance to win exclusive rewards including Delhi Capitals merchandise, signed memorabilia, and match tickets — making every match more immersive and rewarding for fans.

Every Delhi Capitals match on CREX features a dedicated interactive quiz section where fans can answer five cricket-based questions in real time while following the game. Users who answer all questions correctly stand a chance to win exclusive Delhi Capitals merchandise, creating a more reward-driven fan experience during live matches.

Purushotam Rawat, CEO, CREX, said, “Cricket today is no longer a one-screen experience. Fans want to be involved in every moment of the game. Our partnership with Delhi Capitals is about turning passive viewership into active participation where every ball, every over, becomes an opportunity to engage. The initiative has already driven significant traction during IPL 2026. CREX generated over 100 million impressions through its quiz-led engagement campaigns, with more than 5 million users actively participating in the quizzes and nearly 70% completing the entire experience. The platform also witnessed strong registration growth, with over 2 million users successfully signing up via the quiz journey. On Delhi Capitals match days alone, more than 15 million fans visited CREX to follow live updates, engage with interactive content, and participate in fan-led experiences. With the IPL season still underway, CREX expects engagement levels to rise further in the coming weeks.

CREX continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s most engaging cricket platforms, with over 100 million downloads and 30 million+ monthly active users. The platform recorded 2 billion+ minutes of user engagement in March alone — spanning the World Cup and IPL — making it one of the most highly engaged cricket apps in terms of usage.

With IPL continuing to evolve into a digital-first, multi-screen experience, the CREX and Delhi Capitals collaboration highlights the growing importance of interactive fan ecosystems. CREX’s quiz-led engagement format is designed to seamlessly integrate into live match consumption — giving fans a reason to stay more connected, more involved, and more invested throughout the game.
