Dish TV unveils VZY Smart TV ecosystem in Kerala, combining DTH and OTT entertainment

Mumbai: Dish TV India Ltd. has expanded its connected entertainment offerings with the launch of its VZY Smart TV ecosystem in Kerala, introducing an integrated solution that combines smart television technology, direct-to-home (DTH) services, OTT content and regional entertainment within a single platform.

The move underscores the company’s strategy to cater to evolving consumer preferences for seamless, always-on entertainment experiences while strengthening its presence in South India through a regional-first content approach.

At the heart of the new ecosystem is the VZY Smart TV range, including a flagship 65-inch model designed to deliver an enhanced home entertainment experience through advanced display technology, immersive audio capabilities and smart connectivity features. The televisions provide users with unified access to live television channels, OTT applications, regional programming, sports content and on-demand entertainment through a single interface.

According to the company, the integrated platform has been designed to simplify content discovery and consumption for connected households, eliminating the need to navigate multiple platforms and services.

As part of the rollout, Dish TV has also introduced its “FIFA to FIFA” entertainment proposition, enabling subscribers to access television services continuously throughout the FIFA World Cup cycle. The offering aims to combine smart television functionality and connected TV services into a unified entertainment ecosystem.

The company has further enhanced the proposition with its “Sports Always-On” feature, which allows viewers to remain connected to major sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup, even during temporary recharge gaps or service interruptions.
