This Women’s day, MediaNews4U.Com is acknowledging women leaders of the Media, Marketing, Broadcast and Advertising fraternity who have given more than expected.

Pulp Strategy is India’s leading independent agency in its space and has built its niche in the space of Brand Strategy, Creative tech, Digital marketing, Content marketing, and product development. Pulp Strategy’s foundation is built on many firsts. Consolidating and aggregating India’s first marketable shared computing terminal base in 2011 with 30000+ terminals, integrating Augmented reality into branding in 2012, using NFC technology to improve retail engagement in 2013, launching Instappy as the first-ever rapid mobile application development product in 2016 to Launching Instappy in the global market with 100+ languages in 2017. In 2018 Pulp strategy pioneered the use of rich interactive content on social media.

In this segment, Ambika Sharma, Founder & MD, Pulp Strategy shares her experiences and breaking the gender stereotypes and how she continues to inspire many other women who are true leaders in the making.

Journey

The 2008 slow down challenged the thought process of the industry, brands wanted value and effective solutions that focused on long-term transformational relationships with consumers. Digital and offline marketing programs infused with technology in harmony could create this value but an effective strategy needed an understanding of the client’s business as well consumer intelligence. Only then creative story telling could translate into data driven effective marketing initiatives of scale. Instead of just domain expertise the need was of – marketing program creation, management, and execution expertise in one single ecosystem. Achieving this business impact for clients was the 1st step in the journey of being a Digital consulting and last mile execution organization. This Journey has been an interesting mix of evolution and achievement along with it came its own set of ups and downs, I am thankful for an upward graph so far, and focused on working towards a transformational future.

Inspiration & Inspiring the Team

My father and my husband, two very different individuals from very diverse backgrounds have been a constant inspiration. I look to my father for strength, determination and focus in personal and professional lives, and it is my forever endeavour to gain an advantage from Amit’s calm way of handling people and situations in the professional world.

Empowerment of Women

Empowerment of women in my personal opinion starts at home, teaching equality at home so that both men and women practice it as young adults and adults in the professional world. Equality also means just that equality, in everything, training, expectation, effort and opportunity. If we are able to achieve this it will be empowerment in its truest sense.
