Mumbai : American sci- fi psychological horror film Flatliners is the next Flix First Premiere on &flix, on December 9, Sunday, at 9 PM. The 2017 film is a remake of the 1990’s Flatliners. Directed by Niels Arden Oplev, and written by Ben Ripley, the movie has an ensemble star cast including Ellen Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiersey Clemons.
Five medical students obsessed with what lies beyond and after life, set out to conduct a weird experiment, each triggering a near-death experience – giving them a firsthand account of the afterlife. The five of them, who have experienced death, seem to be able to live life to the fullest until they realize that they cannot. Not really, anyway! The group is consistently haunted by their afterlife memories and what they saw during the experiment. At one point, while it seems that they almost deserve the consequences, the raw gore of it makes you also want to save them from their acts. Will they live to appreciate the present or will they be trapped in the grey area not knowing where they truly belong? Destiny always has something else in store for those who wish to go against the law of nature.
