Mumbai Genesis Burson-Marsteller continues its award winning spree, receiving industry awards over the past week for delivering impactful integrated communications programmes for clients. The consultancy has been honoured at 2016 SABRE Awards Asia Pacific as well as at the inaugural Fulcrum Awards 2016 in the following categories: Measurement and Evaluation (twice), Travel & Leisure, Business to Business Marketing and Most Impactful Media Campaign.   In addition, the consultancy also received an individual excellence honour at PRAXIS 2016, given by the Promise Foundation.

Diamond SABRE in Measurement & Evaluation – Every Day A Different Journey – Tourism New Zealand with Genesis Burson-Marsteller and Gold SABRE in Travel & Leisure – Every Day A Different Journey – Tourism New Zealand with Genesis Burson-Marsteller

An integrated communications approach which used public relations, advertising, digital, social and consumer engagement to showcase the amazing experiences that New Zealand has to offer as a tourist destination.

 Gold SABRE in Business To Business Marketing – The Story of A Roaring Revival/ Make in India Week – Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Government of India with Genesis Burson-Marsteller

Make in India Week was an integrated campaign of unprecedented scale – a grand confluence of industry leaders, policy makers, diplomats and academia, which included public relations, advertising, digital, social and outdoor media and even crisis communication. It was conceptualized as an initiative to revive confidence in India’s manufacturing capabilities amongst potential partners abroad, the business community and citizens.

At the 2016 Fulcrum Awards, Genesis Burson-Marsteller received the following honours:

Best Use of Evaluation & Measurement Award – One shot against seven deadly diseases – Immunization Technical Support Unit (ITSU) with Genesis Burson Marsteller

Mission Indradhanush is a multi-pronged, integrated public awareness programme launched by The Government of India, which aims to immunize every child in the country by 2020.

Most Impactful Media Campaign – Go Big, Go NBA – NBA with Genesis Burson Marsteller & WordsWork

Go Big, Go NBA is an integrated campaign that used public relations, grass root events, digital amplification, and content management to create an ecosystem to build the sport and culture for basketball in a traditionally cricket-crazy nation.

Individual Excellence Award given by Promise Foundation:

ABC (Ace Business Communicator) Young Professional of the Year – Consultancy – Parekhit Bhattacharjee

Parekhit is an Associate Partner in the Telecom & Technology Practice at Genesis Burson-Marsteller, Delhi along with being the Client Servicing and New Business Head for StepUp; a new offering that he helped conceptualize and set up for the consultancy. StepUp is a new initiative empowering start-ups and young businesses to tell their story for future success. After successfully setting up StepUp in India, Parekhit went on to help set up the division in China. Parekhit has demonstrated the true spirit of being an ‘Intrapreneur’ by taking it upon himself at the early stage of his career to introduce something new and fresh for the organization.
