Godrej Enterprises honors Teachers’ Day by celebrating curiosity and learning

Mumbai: Godrej Enterprises Group (GEG) marked Teachers’ Day with a unique and thought-provoking film titled “The Classroom of Curiosity”, celebrating the power of curiosity and the enduring influence of teachers in shaping professionals, innovators, and leaders.

As part of the initiative, Godrej employees stepped into classrooms not as students, but as teachers, engaging with young, inquisitive minds. The children posed a wide range of innocent yet profound questions that sparked conversations, reflection, and shared learning. These interactions underscored how curiosity not only lights the spark of discovery but also lays the foundation for innovation, growth, and excellence—values central to Godrej’s corporate culture.

Speaking on the occasion, Sumeet Bhojani, Head – Brand & Strategic Insights, Godrej Industries Group, said, “This Teachers’ Day, we honour the ones who encouraged us to ask questions. The ones who sparked our curiosity and helped us unlock our potential. Through the Classroom of Curiosity film, we celebrate the inquisitive spirit that drives every Godrej employee to build better solutions for people, nation, and planet.”

A total of 25 students participated enthusiastically in the activity, which was designed to inspire both children and professionals alike. The initiative highlighted the vital role teachers play in nurturing curiosity and guiding the next generation of innovators.

The Classroom of Curiosity aligns with Godrej’s broader commitment to learning and exploration. By encouraging employees to embrace childlike wonder and young learners to think boldly, the initiative reinforces the company’s belief that curiosity today builds the problem-solvers, innovators, and leaders of tomorrow.
