New Delhi: Havas Media India, the media agency under Havas Media Network India, has been appointed as the Media Agency on Record (AOR) for Matrimony.com, India’s leading online matchmaking company.
Under the mandate, Havas Media India will manage integrated media strategy, planning and buying for Matrimony.com across digital and offline platforms. The agency will leverage its AI-powered consumer intelligence, data-driven planning ecosystem and integrated media capabilities to support business growth and strengthen consumer engagement for the brand portfolio.
Headquartered in Chennai and listed on both the BSE and NSE, Matrimony.com operates several matchmaking platforms including BharatMatrimony, Elite Matrimony, Tamil Matrimony, Telugu Matrimony, Kerala Matrimony and over 300 community-based matrimony platforms. The company has established a strong leadership position in India’s online matchmaking segment through its regional understanding and culturally nuanced consumer approach.
The mandate further strengthens Havas Media India’s growing footprint in South India. Over the past year, the agency has expanded its regional operations across Bengaluru and Chennai, backed by strategic leadership hires and an expanding portfolio of South India-focused brands.
The agency currently handles brands such as Swiggy, V-Guard, Eurogrip Tyres, Muthoot FinCorp, Joyalukkas and Modenik Lifestyle across the region.
The South operations are led by Sujata Singh, who has over two decades of experience across organisations including Amazon India, GroupM, Omnicom Media Group and IPG Mediabrands.
As part of its continued investment in the South market, Havas Media India recently expanded its Bengaluru operations under the Havas Village model, bringing together media, digital, content, commerce and technology specialists under one integrated ecosystem. The Bengaluru Havas Village houses capabilities across Havas Play, Havas Market, Arena Media, CSA and PivotRoots, alongside AI-led analytics, performance and consumer intelligence teams.

The agency has also expanded its Chennai operations to deepen regional expertise and strengthen client servicing capabilities across South India’s evolving consumer market.
