Honasa forays into prestige skincare market with science-backed brand Luminéve

Mumbai: Honasa Consumer Limited, a personal care company, has announced its entry into the prestige skincare segment with the launch of Luminéve, a science-led skincare brand designed specifically for night-time use. Debuting exclusively on Nykaa, Luminéve is built around the biology of the skin’s natural nocturnal repair cycle and circadian rhythm, introducing a night-first approach to skincare with formulations that enhance absorption, recovery, and renewal.

Recognizing that the skin functions differently at night, Luminéve is engineered with the understanding that night is when the barrier strengthens, cell turnover accelerates, and the skin becomes most receptive to treatment. Each product is designed to work in synergy with this heightened renewal window.

At the core of the brand’s formulations is the Advanced NightRenew Complex™, a proprietary blend of actives and botanicals such as Collagen & Peptides, Niacinamide, Polyglutamic Acid, Cica (Madecassoside), Bisabolol, and Licorice, encapsulated for time-release delivery in sync with the skin’s circadian rhythm.

Speaking on the launch, Ghazal Alagh, Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer, Honasa Consumer Limited, said, “Night skincare has long been treated as an extension of day routines, but the skin doesn’t follow our convenience; it follows its own biology. During the day, the skin is in defence mode, shielding itself from stressors. At night, it shifts into repair and regeneration mode, it absorbs better, loses more moisture and responds most effectively to targeted treatment. Luminéve is built to respect this science. It is purposeful, precise and designed for the time when skin naturally repairs the most, across different skin types.”

Luminéve debuts with a curated collection of clinically tested night moisturisers tailored to six distinct skin types, alongside overnight serums powered by India’s first Liposomal Technology featuring Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Retinol, and Salicylic Acid. This innovation ensures optimal overnight absorption while maintaining skin comfort.

Developed by Honasa’s in-house R&D team in collaboration with Korean formulation experts and a global dermatologist, Luminéve blends high-performance science with a refined sensorial experience, designed to perform effectively on Indian skin.

With this launch, Honasa strengthens its presence in India’s fast-growing prestige skincare market, catering to consumers who seek science-backed, dermatologist-influenced skincare solutions. Luminéve will be available exclusively on Nykaa, priced between INR 1,499 and INR 1,799.
