India celebrated 75th Independence Day with tremendous pride. The brands across the country also celebrated the day with love, joy, and much pride with different campaigns. Apart from the brand promotions, the campaigns celebrated the Indian spirit.

Let’s take a look at some of the campaigns shared by brands on 15th August.

Jeep India

JEEP brand, which is synonymous the world over with Freedom and Adventure, celebrates India’s 75th Independence Day by lighting up its monolithic brand installation on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in the Indian Tricolour. This record-breaking installation is a visual spectacle for commuters on the Expressway and will be kept illuminated in the Indian Tricolour for three days.

Tata Pravesh

Tata Pravesh, a brand of steel doors & windows from Tata Steel, has released a music video featuring lyricist, playback singer, writer, director, and actor – Swanand Kirkire and percussionist extraordinaire – Sivamani to salute our freedom fighters, urging each one of us to break free from the shackles of despair, drawing on our bottomless reserves of inner strength.

Club House

On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day (and to commemorate the beginning of its Platinum Jubilee of Independence), Clubhouse’s unique creators Vinod G. Nair & Jasveen Kaur have come together to organize a 14 hour-long celebration called ‘Happy Birthday India’ on Clubhouse with people from all over the world! The room has already witnessed interest from some prominent Indian personalities such as Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Sanjeev Kapoor, Ranveer Brar, Nehal Chudasma and many more.

BIC Cello

BIC Cello has launched a video campaign titled #AzaadiJoKalamUthaKaiMile to celebrate Independence Day. The campaign was launched in partnership with The Better India (a digital media platform) and aims to stress the importance of education – a key enabler of change and freedom.

#AzaadiJoKalamUthaKaiMile is a digital film that showcases powerful stories of three real-life personalities who have leveraged education to overcome challenges and predestined conditions, to lead successful lifestyles. #AzaadiJoKalamUthaKaiMile aims to inspire children and youth to pick up a pen and work towards advancing their lives.

ACC Limited

ACC Limited, marking its 85th Anniversary this year, is celebrating the heroism and valour of 300 women during the Indo-Pak war in 1971 through its short film called ‘Bhuj ki Bhujayein’, releasing today. The short film is inspired by ACC’s association with ‘Bhuj – The pride of India’ film which is a story of bravery, patriotism and determination.

The short film centralizes nation-building, ‘Desh Nirman’, which has always been an intricate part of the company’s vision. It is a symbol of how ACC has stood the test of time by building durable and sustainable structures. The company has built a strong legacy of trust by being one of the leading companies of cement in the country.

Dalmia Bharat Group & T-Series

As India celebrated Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Dalmia Bharat Group & Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series brings audiences a special song this 75th Independence Day. Titled ‘Mauka Hai’, the song is sung by B Praak, composed by Rochak Kohli, and penned by Manoj Muntashir.

‘Mauka Hai’ is a song dedicated to the unwavering spirit of 136 crores Indians. This song celebrates the achievement of unsung heroes of today from different fields thereby motivating others to aspire, perspire and achieve their dreams and build India of their dreams by 2047.

JK Lakshmi Cement

JK Lakshmi Cement, in association with BC Web Wise, launches its new digital ad film #IndiaAbSoschBulandKaro to celebrate the 75th Independence Day with a unique insight on freedom.

The brand’s Independence Day digital film wonderfully captures the essence of joy in shifting to your dream home and contentment in living life to the fullest. The film exhibits how building our dream home gives us a sense of independence and freedom to explore more.

LG

LG Electronics India announced it’s latest “Freedom is Good” consumer campaign offers for its diverse range of products such as Television, Refrigerators, Washing machines, Air Conditioners, among others.  With these unique offers, consumers can avail of assured benefits like cashback, low-cost EMI, and others. These offers will be valid till 16th August 2021.

Voltas

Voltas Limited, India’s No. 1 AC brand, from the house of Tata’s, has launched a new digital video commercial (DVC)- “#KeepingIndiaCool”. Launched on the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, this DVC commemorates Voltas’ contribution to nation-building and sheds light on how the company has been serving the nation through its wide range of cooling solutions for over six decades.

Comfy Snug Fit

Comfy Snug Fit, a menstrual hygiene brand from the house of Amrutanjan Healthcare Limited (Amrutanjan Healthcare), attempts to unbox freedom from menstrual taboos in its latest digital campaign for Independence Day.  With this campaign being launched on the 75th Independence Day of India, Comfy aims to deliver a powerful message on what actual independence feels like for menstruating women by revealing the years of discomfort hidden inside a brown paper bag. It hopes to free our minds of age-old taboos surrounding menstruation.

MAK Lubricants

MAK Lubricants from Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) has launched a new video ‘De Jeene Ki Azaadi’ to celebrate freedom this Independence Day.

IDFC Mutual Funds

independence Day, IDFC Mutual Fund salutes the spirit of these ‘investment angels’ by rolling out the film, #DeshKaNivesh, highlighting the importance of financial advisors and distributor partners in the lives of investors across the nation.

The film, #DeshKaNivesh, not just features investors from various geographical locations across the country but also shows investors from different age groups in varied situations of life. In the eight-scene film, IDFC Mutual Fund highlights how proper guidance can truly change the lives of investors.

Kamdhenu Paints

Kamdhenu Paints launched the Independence Day campaign on its social media platform – #AzaadiKeRang. Azaadi Ke Rang Manao Kamdhenu Ke Sang to convey how India showed different colors of freedom. The campaign will consist of a series of videos highlighting current social issues. A video on 15th August to thank the unsung heroes of the nation, Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Sweepers, and even the Painters who venture into our house to make it look good and safe.

Mann Tours

To celebrate and cherish the spirit of our freedom, Mann Tours celebrated 75th National Independence Day with underprivileged kids from various places of the capital to promote domestic tourism. The motive of this magnificent extravaganza was not only to invoke a sense of pride among the youth of the country and not consider the day as a mere holiday or vacation but also the contribution of every citizen to feel pride and celebrate the nation’s Independence Day.

Voltbek Home Appliances Private Limited (Voltas Beko)

Voltbek Home Appliances Private Limited (Voltas Beko) has launched a new digital video commercial “#FreedomFromExpectations”. Conceptualized by Momspresso, a platform providing content for the multi-faceted mothers of today, the video is an emotive take on the internal conflict of a mother as she balances perfection (expectations), with the sheer joy of doing new things.

Noise

The lifestyle brand has launched its new campaign ‘Pulse of the Nation’, to celebrate the spirit of India’s sporting glory and that of Independence Day. As part of the ‘Pulse of the Nation’ campaign, the brand has introduced a series of limited-edition watch faces that feature, select athletes who represented the nation at the Olympics Tokyo 2020 along with some watch faces that celebrate India’s pride and growth. With this campaign, the brand aims to celebrate the nation and the true and undying spirit of Indian athletes who despite obstacles, displayed excellence and persistence with their remarkable performances.

HomeFirst Finance

HomeFirst Finance started celebrations for the 75th Independence Day. HomeFirst has launched a week-long campaign ‘HomeFirst ke Heroes’. Keeping it as the central idea, the campaign is aimed to honor and recognize the selfless service of armed forces veterans in shaping India as we see it today. Starting from 9th August leading up to the climactic finale on 15th August. As safety norms are a priority, the majority of the events are being conducted digitally.

Godrej

The  Godrej Group released a digital film to rejoice the spirit of independence with the campaign – #FreedomIs. The theme #FreedomIs expresses the expectations of the youth of the country and presents their belief of what freedom means to them, and how their kind of India will be different. The campaign highlights various aspects that they can relate to and urges every citizen to take a pledge to spread this idea of an optimistic India.

Upstox

Upstox (also known as RKSV Securities), launched its Independence Day campaign ‘#StartKarkeDekho.’

The goal of the campaign is to inspire individuals to take that first step towards their financial journey and encourage them to invest in their future. It features a short film that emphasizes that it all starts with the first step; to achieve greatness, one must take stock of their courage and embark on their journey. The video features three young and aspiring individuals, an athlete, a dancer, and an artist. It captures the courage required to take a step towards fulfilling one’s dreams of achieving true freedom and attaining financial independence.

Country Delight

Country Delight, a direct-to-consumer daily essentials brand, has released a lively music video to mark the 75th Independence Day. The “Good Morning India” anthem celebrates the freedom to choose pure every single day.

Catchy and fresh, the video carries a hummable tune that invokes energetic morning vibes for the listeners. Starring kids from different ethnicities acing its hook step and raising a glass of purity full of Country Delight milk, the brand’s video pulls attention to the unity in the humble daily habit shared across India – choosing only nutritious milk for families every morning.

Capital India:

Capital India celebrates Independence Day by empowering the transgender & specially abled communities

To celebrate the inclusive freedom in real sense Capital India with its CSR arm Atulya Foundation conducted Tree plantation with Transgender and Specially-abled communities in Noida and Mumbai.

The tree plantation drive in Mumbai was organized with Sangopita NGO which is a shelter home for people with special needs.  Saplings were planted by the Capital India volunteers along with special needs community members in Mumbai.

The plantation drive with these communities was a sincere effort by the organization to create sense of inclusion among its employees and the community members.
