JioStar’s MegaBlast lights up MyG’s 20th anniversary celebrations across Kerala

Mumbai: MyG, a retail electronics and mobile chain, celebrated its 20th anniversary with a state-wide Mega Sale that marked two decades of trust and service to consumers across the state. To amplify this milestone, MyG partnered with JioStar’s MegaBlast — India’s largest one-day advertising takeover across television — creating unparalleled excitement and engagement throughout Kerala.

MegaBlast, an innovative ad property conceptualized by BMEG Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Asianet Network, went live across Asianet’s Movies and GEC channels, delivering a full-day brand takeover experience that dominated audience attention across households.

The MegaBlast format represents a first-of-its-kind high-impact advertising innovation, enabling brands to command attention across television and digital within a single day. The property integrates multiple ad units — including Brand Bridges, Spotlight Frames, Pause Ads, Stings, and Mega Spots — to build an immersive storytelling experience and ensure 360-degree visibility.

Through this association, MyG achieved exceptional statewide reach, capturing audience attention and reinforcing its brand leadership during its landmark 20-year celebration.

Speaking about the partnership, A.K. Shaji, Chairman, MyG India Pvt.
