Chennai : The leading Tamil Satellite channel ”Kalaignar TV” is all set to launch the 10th season of its most popular nonfiction property, the dance reality show ”Maanada Mayilada”.
The premium dance reality show which started its journey in 2007, has since then kept the audience spellbound with melodious songs coupled with innovative and unique dance movements in each and every episode and has redefined the standards of reality dance shows forever.
Kalaignar TV had successfully completed nine seasons of ‘Maanada Mayilada’ and the channel is fully geared up for the launch of its 10th Season. To mark the commencement of new season of the show in a grand manner, the launch episode of ”Maanada Mayilada” will be aired live on 1st February from 7:30 PM onwards.
The dance show will be judged by famous film personalities Meena, Namitha and Kala Master. Maanada Mayilada is best known for the types of dance shown and the beautiful, unique sets brought by Kala Master. The sets have become a major highlight and are appreciated by the audience.
During the previous seasons the show also had many other film personalities like Other judges have been Brinda, Kushboo Sundar, Rambha, Namitha, Simran, Mumtaj, Sudha Chandran and Prasanth. The Grand Finale of many seasons were aired live from Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai and its 8th season Grand Finale was conducted in London.
All the season including the upcoming one was hosted by actor Sanjeev and Keerthi. The new season of ”Maanada Mayilada” will be aired on every Sunday at 7:30 PM. As per the ratings of week 3, Kalaignar TV posted a strong gain with 193 GRP against 109 GRP in week 2.
Market Sources also states that the channel is planning for a revamp in its fiction offering in the prime-time with a couple of new additions down the line in couple of months.
