Marico’s Beardo Redefines Evolution in Bold New Campaign Featuring Hrithik Roshan

Mumbai: Beardo, a men’s grooming brand under the Marico umbrella, has launched a daring and thought-provoking campaign titled “Evolution Ends with the Bearded Boss”, featuring Superstar Hrithik Roshan. The campaign challenges the widely accepted Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, suggesting that the modern corporate worker, often depicted as the peak of evolution, is far from humanity’s ultimate stage.

The ad unfolds in an art gallery where Hrithik Roshan walks past a series of evolutionary depictions, starting from apes and progressing through different human stages. The final frame—a hunched corporate worker chained to his briefcase—sparks Hrithik’s powerful declaration: “Peak of evolution? Wrong.” The narrative contrasts the monotony of corporate conformity with the bold image of a well-groomed, confident individual who represents freedom, individuality, and self-expression.

Hrithik Roshan, sharing his thoughts on the campaign, said: “I’ve always believed that the most powerful thing a person can do is live authentically. This campaign isn’t just about grooming—it’s about challenging societal expectations and embracing your individuality.”

Siddharth Vaya, Chief Business Officer at Beardo, added: “This campaign is about redefining evolution. The modern Beardo is more than just a man—he’s a leader, a trailblazer, and someone who chooses to be extraordinary. A beard isn’t just a style; it’s a statement of individuality and power. Why settle for being a cog in the machine when you can be the boss?”
