Manoj K Das, Editor, Mathrubhumi, has stepped down after a stint of 20 months with the media Group. Das joined the Mathrubhumi group as Editor in November 2019.
Prior to his stint with Mathrubhumi, Das has held the position of Resident Editor, Times of India, Kerala.
He started his career with The New Indian Express ( TNIE) in 1994. Later, Das was elevated as the Kochi Bureau Chief, Deputy Resident Editor, and Resident Editor of TNIE. He has also worked as Resident Editor in Asianet News, Deccan Chronicle.
Senior journalist V Rabindranath has taken over the charge of Senior Executive Editor, Mathrubhumi.
In the second week of June 2021, Unni Balakrishnan, Chief of News, Mathrubhumi News channel has resigned. He was replaced by Rajeev Devaraj, who took charge of the Executive Editor post from July 1st.
