Mumbai: Minikin DGWorks has clinched a Gold Lion and Bronze Lion at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2025, marking the production house’s debut on the global stage. The accolades were awarded in the categories of “Creative Data” and “Brand Experience & Activation” for the highly acclaimed ‘Acko-Tailor Test’ campaign—developed in collaboration with Leo Burnett India for Acko India.
The campaign represents a bold fusion of data-powered storytelling and immersive brand engagement, earning widespread praise for its ingenuity and emotional impact.
“This is a big recognition for us at Minikin and a proud moment for the entire team,” said Aleya Sen, Co-Founder, Chrome Pictures & Minikin DGWorks. “I believe the combo of a breakthrough concept along with the right kind of narrative in film craft is always a promising one. As a production house, scripts like these bring us immense satisfaction.”
Directed by Miti Shroff and produced by Ashish Gole, the ‘Acko-Tailor Test’ is a compelling example of how creative data can reshape advertising by reflecting real-life insights with cinematic brilliance. The campaign demonstrated how Acko Insurance’s data-driven customer solutions can empower everyday consumers—tailors, in this case—with the assurance and agency that coverage brings.
This win not only represents a significant milestone for Minikin DGWorks but also signals a new era of storytelling in India’s ad industry—one where data and heart go hand in hand. The project reflects Minikin’s commitment to crafting powerful, digital-first narratives that are at once human and highly relevant to contemporary audiences.
Founded by Aleya Sen, Amit Sharma, and Hemant Bhandari, Minikin DGWorks is the new-age production wing of Chrome Pictures, focused on creating fast, high-impact internet content for modern brands.
