Cochin : As reported earlier on tvnews4u.com Flowers TV, the new Malayalam entertainment television channel from the house of Insight Media City (India) Pvt Ltd. is all set to launch on a mega event on 4th April 2015.
The new channel is lead by director R. Sreekandan Nair, noted media person who was associated with many leading channels in the past. He promises extremely unique experience through his channel like nothing seen before.
The Launch event was planned in a Grand manner on Saturday evening, 4th April 2015 at Bristow Ground, Willington Isaland, Kochi in Kerala. The event is expected to be a star studded cultural event with who’s who of Malayalam film fraternity to be present. The channel is likely to commence operation from 5th April.
Earlier, Flowers TV has announced an adventure reality show named Star challenge. This show is for the Malayalam actors and actress. They will be competing each other in two teams namely Green Warriors and Orange Army. Popular actress Raai laxmi and other actors from the industry are participating in this adventure reality show. Flowers tv will telecast fresh shows, serials, films etc.
Flowers TV is being backed by a consortium of Big names like Alungal Mohammed, Gokulam Gopalan, Dr B Govindan, Dr Vidya Vinod, Dr A M Arun, Davies Edakulathur, Sathish G Pillai and T A Sundar Menon stand as the backbone of the channel that infuses funds for the new channel and related ventures that includes India’s first mediacity with its head quarters in Cochin, Ernakulam.
The channel was also involved in buying couple of new Malayalam movie satellite rights in the recent past.
Noted film maker Priyadarshan is also likely to launch his channel ”Janam TV” on 19th April. Kerala market is already cluttered with GECs like Asianet, Mazhavil Manorama, Surya TV, Amrita TV and Kaumudi TV.
