New Zealand Cricket signs 7-year deal with CricViz as Official Performance Analysis & Scoring Partner
Share Share ShareShare

London: CricViz, the global leader in cricket data and analytics, has been appointed by New Zealand Cricket (NZC) as its official Performance Analysis and Scoring Partner in a landmark seven-year agreement commencing ahead of the 2025/26 domestic season.

The long-term partnership represents one of the most comprehensive collaborations in international cricket, delivering an integrated ecosystem of CricViz’s world-leading technology across both elite performance and match scoring.

Under this agreement, NZC will gain access to cutting-edge data tools to support its men’s and women’s high-performance programmes, while fans worldwide will benefit from richer match coverage, real-time insights, and interactive digital experiences powered by CricViz’s live data feeds.

The deal also enables NZC to streamline operations, consolidating multiple vendors into a single unified platform. This will simplify workflows, reduce operational complexity, and support consistent, data-driven decision-making across all levels of the organisation.

As part of the partnership, CricViz will deliver a comprehensive suite of products and services, including:

  • Advanced Analytics Services with a dedicated performance data helpdesk.
  • Live Data Collection and Downstream Infrastructure including CricViz’s FastPath collection system, ball-by-ball video tagging, and enhanced scoreboard and streaming graphics.
  • Integrated data feeds for on-screen broadcast graphics.
  • Fan Engagement Platforms including custom-built match centres with live scores, stats, visualisations, and video content.

Michael Kivido, Managing Director for CricViz, said, “We are thrilled to enter this long-term partnership with New Zealand Cricket – one of the most forward-thinking boards in the game. Over the next seven years, CricViz will provide NZC with the most advanced analytical tools in our sector, helping to drive better decisions on the field and deliver exceptional experiences for fans off it. By unifying high performance and fan engagement through one trusted platform, this agreement brings long-term value and cutting-edge innovation in equal measure.”

Scott Weenink, CEO of New Zealand Cricket, added, “CricViz’s appointment as our official data partner is a significant one for NZC and we’re excited about the agreement. Their advanced analytical tools will sharpen our decision-making on the field, while their innovative fan engagement platforms will elevate the way we connect with supporters worldwide. This partnership positions us at the forefront of cricket’s data-driven future.”

This landmark agreement underscores CricViz’s reputation as a global leader in performance analysis and fan engagement tools, trusted by the world’s top cricket organisations to drive on-field success and deepen fan connections.
