Gurgaon: Niva Bupa Health Insurance, one of India’s leading standalone health insurers, has announced the elevation of Rahul Chatterjee as Senior Vice President & Head – Marketing, recognizing his significant contribution to strengthening the company’s brand, communications, and market leadership over the years.

In his expanded role, Rahul will continue to lead Niva Bupa’s integrated marketing function, overseeing brand strategy, consumer marketing, public relations, media, digital marketing, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement. He will further reinforce Niva Bupa’s position as one of the most trusted health insurance brands in India.

Rahul brings over 15 years of experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, consumer health, and insurance. Prior to joining Niva Bupa, he held key marketing and brand leadership roles at organizations including GSK Consumer Healthcare (now Haleon), Sanofi, Cipla, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he successfully managed brand portfolios, marketing strategy, P&L responsibilities, market research, and go-to-market execution.

During his tenure at Niva Bupa, Rahul has played a pivotal role in driving the company’s brand transformation journey, strengthening consumer trust, enhancing brand saliency, and building a differentiated market presence through impactful campaigns, strategic media engagement, and purpose-led storytelling.

The elevation reflects Niva Bupa’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capabilities and investing in brand-led growth as it expands its footprint in India’s rapidly evolving health insurance sector.

With a growing emphasis on customer-centric innovation, digital engagement, and awareness around health protection, the company remains committed to deepening consumer trust and delivering meaningful healthcare solutions to millions of Indians.
