DelhI: CarDekho has appointed OMD India to manage its offline media duties. The account will be serviced by a dedicated team of media, strategy and data specialists out of the network’s Gurugram office.
Founded in 2008 by brothers, Amit and Anurag Jain,as astart-upout of Jaipur, CarDekho Group has grown to become India’s leading Auto Tech Ecosystem. With more than 78 million in monthly traffic, 39 million monthly unique visitors, 2 million YouTube subscribers and upwards of 6 million mobile app downloads, the group has become largest consumer-facing platform in the country, digitizing the entire Indian Auto Ecosystem.
Today, 80% of all people buying a car in India are researching on one of CarDekho Group’s sites. CarDekho works directly with over eight car and motorcycle manufacturers, accounting for 15-30% of their combined annual sales. It also works actively with 5,000 dealerships across India, influencing more than 42% of the retail sales happening through their counters. In addition, it works in collaboration with more than 10 financial institutions across the country to facilitate used car financing and provide a seamless experience for both buyers and sellers.The site has introduced several innovative features to provide consumers with a rich, immersive experience throughout their car buying journey. As such, the platform has partnered with OMD to ensure they make full use of them.
