Punit Pandey, Chief Business officer, 9X Media shares his Focus areas for 2020.

Audience No. 1!

Our tribe, our audience, continues to be our No. 1 priority. We are who we are today because of their love and trust. So, our focus would be to entertain them in the best possible way be it music curation or humor with animation! Thus, maintaining our leadership position for all our music channels and continue to be the preferred destination for music consumption on television across all our languages, would be our focus for 2020.

Jahan Tum, Wahan Hum!

Our audience is music enthusiasts. They crave for exciting music content. Also, the availability of multiple platforms has given them options to explore and consume music whenever and wherever they want- My time, my platform, be it any screen. Hence, we make sure to be on multiple platforms they subscribe to. Currently, we are available on Hotstar, ZEE5, MX Player, JIO TV, Airtel Xstream, Vodafone Play, Yupp TV. Our focus is to be on all platforms alongside our Television and continue to build our tribe across multiple screens.

Kahani Regions ki!

Our audience has given immense love to our regional channels, 9X Tashan in Punjab and 9X Jhakaas in Maharashtra. 9X Tashan is no. 1 music channel in Punjab. Music is intrinsic to Punjab which is an artist-driven independent music market unlike Bollywood! There are soulful voices that are yet to be heard. Our focus is to introduce such talents to the world by providing them an apt platform with 9X Tashan and SpotlampE. We then plan to replicate the Punjab model in Maharashtra by introducing talented Marathi singers through 9X Jhakaas.

King uncle- Advertiser!

2020 is no different, as we continue to deliver value to all our advertisers and their brands. We have been fortunate to partner with some of the most prestigious brands. Our focus is to continue to love and respect our partnerships. We ensure to be their favorite destination to build relationship with our tribe.

This is my personal agenda which is to build our super happy, fun team, who creates all the fun for our audiences, our tribe, and our advertisers. Team khush toh sab Khush!
