Chennai: Industry veteran Paritosh Joshi had cut short his assignment with Sun TV Network that started in the 1st week of March 2017.
He got associated with the South Indian Broadcast giant on an advisory role to drive the revenue growth of all its GEC and Non GEC channels. Paritosh has brought in many changes in the functioning style of Sales Teams of Sun TV Network Channels.
In his farewell message on Facebook, Parotosh said, “Another farewell, Another moment of limp in throat. Thanks Sivasankar, Dinesh, Sreekumar, Sreeram and everyone. It’s been a great ride. And hope we stay in touch in future too.”
He was the brain behind the idea of dismantling the individual channel sales teams and structuring the Network sales force in to GEC and Non GEC verticals, under the leadership of Alex Grorge and Milan Singh respectively.
Paritosh Joshi commands more than three decades of experience in Brand Portfolio, Advertising, Media & Broadcast sector in Indian and South Asia. He is also specialised in Consumer Product and Service Sales and Marketing, Business Negotiation, Team leadership and motivation, Goal setting and budgeting, Vision articulation.
In his career graph he was associated with India TV, Shop CJ, Star India, Business Standard, ITC Limited, Lintas India and P&G. He also plays mentoring and advisory role in MRUC and served for IBF at pro bono voluntary capacity.
An alumni of IIM Ahmedabad with graduation in Statistics and Mathematics, Paritosh, played important role during the roll-out of BARC India and groomed it by participating in various functions such as mentoring, rendering adverse on teething issues, guiding them in seminars and Road Shows.
