Premalu, which became a sensational blockbuster across South India will be streaming exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar from April 12, 2024. The movie is directed by Girish A D and stars Naslen and Mamitha in lead roles.
Written by Girish A D and Kiran Josey, Premalu has cinematography by Ajmal Sabu, Music by Vishnu Vijay and Akash Joseph Varghese as Editor. Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan and Syam Pushkaran have produced the movie under the banner Bhavana Studios.
Premalu narrates the story of Sachin, an introverted engineering graduate, who moves to Hyderabad to prepare for the GATE exam. In Hyderabad, he meets Reenu, an IT professional, and they become friends. The narrative takes an interesting turn as Sachin falls in love with Reenu, whose idea of a partner is in stark contrast to Sachin’s character.
Shyam Mohan, Sangeeth Prathap, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, Althaf Salim, Shameer Khan and K S Prasad are among the cast. Mathew Thomas plays an extended cameo while Syam Pushkaran appears in a cameo appearance. The performances of Naslen, Mamitha, Sangeeth and Akhila were outstanding while Shyam Mohan as “JK” was sensational.
