Puthiya Thalaimurai is all set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Gemini Flyover with on-ground activities on 8th July 2023 at Semmozhi Poonga, starting from 4 PM. The activity, named Gemini@50, is hosted by New Generation Media in partnership with Fourth Dimension Media Solutions.
Since its inauguration in 1973, this architectural marvel, also known as Anna Flyover, has captured the hearts of residents, becoming a symbol of the city, said the channel in an official announcement.
As part of the celebrations, a discussion has also been planned, bringing together bureaucrats, celebrities, and visionary business tycoons, who will regale the audience with their personal anecdotes on the historic bridge.
Additionally, both Puthiya Thalaimurai and Puthuyugam will air exclusive news segments, thought-provoking packages, and gripping episodes dedicated to the 50th anniversary celebrations.
