Mumbau : The Nagpur station of India’s 20-station network Radio City 91.1 FM once again entered the esteemed ‘Limca Book of Records’ with the 10 day Non Stop Ganpati Vandana at Zero Mile in Nagpur.
The activity which began on the 17th of September set a record for over 240 hrs of 1 lakh Ganpati Vandana by more than 3000 people.
The activity to worship the Hindu god Ganesha – also known as Ganpati – during the annual festival of Ganesh Chaturthi.
The activity witnessed participants across all age groups with the youngest one aged 3 & the eldest one being 90 years. Each participant chanted the shloka ‘Vakratund Mahakaya’ at least five times and they were all handed a certificate of participation as an acknowledgement for their contribution.
It was an earnest effort by the team at Radio City 91.1 FM to ensure that the festive spirit retains its originality &only the Ganpati Vandana would be heard by everyone visiting to seek the Almighty’s blessings.
