Chennai: Truth has prevailed and is growing as the 4th April’ 2017 will mark the 8th Anniversary for Sathiyam TV, the No. 2 Tamil News and Current Affairs Channel. Sathiyam has done remarkably well to weather the storm and has come to be regarded as a very unbiased channel that does not have a political leaning.

Pertinently, the past year has seen a vast improvement in the ratings of Sathiyam mainly due to the aggressive strategies of adding to the distribution and reach of the channel, augmenting technology and presentation and revamping content. Consequently, The ratings of the channel has moved from the bottom rungs of the Tamil News genre to its present day prominence are testimony to the effectiveness of these strategies.

Sathiyam is now extensively available in the traditional C&S segment in the state of Tamil Nadu, apart from select nation-wide MSO’s catering to areas of Tamil populace in Kerala, Andhra, Karnataka, Maharashtra & parts of Kolkata. Sathiyam is also available in the leading DTH Service Providers of Tatasky, Videocon & Airtel and in OTT Service Providers such as JIO. Sathiyam has an active presence in the web, with a 24X7 live streaming in the internet that reaches to the rest of the globe and an equally active presence in the social media with popular accounts in Facebook, Youtube and Twitter.

Despite the major part of C&S distribution in Tamil Nadu is by the Government run TACTV, the channel has still come to be known for its daring anti-incumbent exposes is a good reflection of the regards for the channel and for the correctness of its telecasts.
