Shoojit Sircar brings quiet chemistry to Tanishq Natural Diamonds’ new film with Ananya, Sushmita & Radhika

Mumbai: After days of speculation across Mumbai’s film and advertising circles, the mystery collaboration involving filmmaker Shoojit Sircar and an unexpected trio of Sushmita Sen, Radhika Apte, and Ananya Panday has officially been revealed.

The collaboration comes alive through Souls in Symphony, the latest campaign from Tanishq Natural Diamonds, marking the first time the three actors have appeared together on screen.

Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the campaign adopts an observational storytelling style, moving away from conventional jewellery advertising to focus on moments of ease, warmth and unspoken connection.

Set in a backstage environment as the trio prepares for an event, the film captures candid conversations and spontaneous interactions that reflect a natural camaraderie. Each actor brings a distinct personality to the narrative, creating a layered portrayal of contemporary womanhood.

The campaign places emphasis not just on adornment but on emotional connection and shared experiences. A central visual moment sees a Tanishq natural diamond necklace passed between the three women, symbolising relationships built on admiration, acceptance and quiet strength.

Rather than positioning jewellery as the focal point, the narrative uses it as a medium to reflect evolving expressions of companionship and individuality.

At its core, Souls in Symphony explores a new-age sisterhood—where women with different personalities and journeys come together while remaining unapologetically themselves.

The film presents an atmosphere of lightness and authenticity, where conversations flow effortlessly and moments of connection become the real highlight.

Speaking about the campaign, Pelki Tshering, Chief Marketing Officer, Tanishq, said, “At Tanishq, we have always celebrated the many facets of a woman’s journey and the relationships that shape her along the way. With Souls in Symphony, we wanted to spotlight a contemporary expression of sisterhood that is defined not by convention, but by shared values and mutual admiration. Today’s women are forging meaningful connections that transcend age, background, and life stages, creating spaces where individuality is celebrated and one another’s successes are amplified. This campaign reflects that evolving spirit of camaraderie, brought to life through Ananya, Sushmita, and Radhika, three women who embody authenticity and self-expression in their own distinct ways. We celebrate the idea that when women uplift one another, they shine brighter together.”

Speaking about the campaign, Shoojit Sircar said, “What stood out to me about Tanishq’s vision for Souls in Symphony was its simplicity and honesty. The idea was not to make a statement about relationships, but to observe them as they naturally unfold through shared moments, humor and unspoken understanding. As a filmmaker, I’m always interested in capturing the authenticity of human connections, and the chemistry between Ananya, Sushmita and Radhika made that possible in a very organic way. Through this film, we wanted to bring alive Tanishq’s celebration of sisterhood and modern-day camaraderie in a manner that feels intimate, relatable and true to life.”

The campaign film is now live across digital platforms.
