Mumbai: Sony Sports Network is set to broadcast the India Women’s Tour of England 2026, featuring a thrilling three-match T20I series from May 28 to June 2. The India Women’s Tour of England 2026 is set to bring another chapter of high-intensity rivalry between two of women’s cricket’s most competitive sides, as India and England gear up for a multi-format contest featuring three T20 Internationals and a historic one-off Test match at Lord’s.
The tour, beginning May 28, is being positioned as a crucial preparatory series ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, while also carrying historic significance with India Women set to play their first-ever Test at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground from July 10 to 13.
The T20I leg of the series will begin with the opening match at Chelmsford on May 28 at 11 PM IST, followed by the second T20I in Bristol on May 30 at 7 PM IST, before concluding in Taunton on June 2 at 11 PM IST.
The spotlight will then shift to Lord’s, often referred to as the “Home of Cricket”, for the standalone Test match scheduled from July 10 to 13 at 3:30 PM IST.
India heads into the series with confidence after securing a 3-2 T20I series win in England last year. Led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the squad features key players including Smriti Mandhana and Deepti Sharma, who was named Player of the Tournament at the 2025 ODI World Cup.
England, meanwhile, will look to regain momentum on home soil despite the absence of captain Nat Sciver-Brunt from the T20I series due to a minor calf injury. Off-spinner Charlie Dean will lead the side, supported by Sophie Ecclestone, Lauren Bell and Danni Wyatt-Hodge, who joins the squad for the second and third T20Is.
The tour also marks a significant moment for England head coach Charlotte Edwards, who famously led England to Women’s T20 World Cup glory in 2009 and now returns to guide the side in another home campaign.
For India, the return to Lord’s carries emotional significance, with the venue still associated with the team’s narrow defeat in the 2017 Women’s ODI World Cup final.
The matches will be broadcast live on Sony Sports Ten 1 SD & HD, Sony Sports Ten 3 Hindi SD & HD, and Sony Sports Ten 4 SD & HD, with commentary available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
The series will also be streamed live on Sony LIV.
As women’s cricket continues to witness rising commercial momentum and growing fan engagement globally, the India-England rivalry is expected to draw significant attention from audiences and broadcasters alike ahead of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
