Bengaluru: Stanley Lifestyles Limited, an integrated luxury furniture and home solutions brand, has elevated Venkataramana Gorti (Venkat) from Joint Managing Director to Managing Director, reinforcing its leadership team as the company enters a new phase of growth, innovation, and expansion in the premium and luxury home interiors market.
The appointment, announced on May 27, 2026, reflects the company’s strategic focus on strengthening leadership capabilities as it scales its operations, expands its retail footprint, and enhances customer experiences across India.
Since joining Stanley Lifestyles, Venkat has played a significant role in strengthening operational discipline, improving manufacturing efficiencies, enhancing supply chain resilience, and building scalable systems to support the company’s long-term growth ambitions.
In his new role as Managing Director, Venkat will be responsible for leading the company’s overall strategy and execution, with a focus on expanding Stanley’s retail presence, deepening manufacturing excellence, driving innovation, and elevating customer experiences across its portfolio of luxury furniture and home solutions.

Venkat brings more than three decades of global leadership experience spanning strategy, customer experience, operations, supply chain management, and business transformation. Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions at globally renowned organisations including ABB, Oracle, GE, Flextronics, Wipro Hydraulics, Honeywell, and Homag, where he led large-scale transformation initiatives and built high-performing international teams.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate and Executive General Management Programme (EGMP) alumnus from IIM Bangalore, Venkat has extensive cross-industry experience across electrical, electronics, hydraulics, aerospace, and woodworking sectors. His international assignments have taken him across the Middle East, Malaysia, the United States, Brazil, Sweden, Finland, Romania, and several other key markets, where he has successfully managed multicultural teams across regions including China, Europe, Mexico, and North America.
He is also CPSCM-certified in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, a Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional, and a certified Independent Director from IICA. In addition, he served as Chairperson of the Furniture Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) during FY24 and was recognised among the Top 100 Inspirational Leaders of Asia in 2022.
