Star Plus Aarambh enjoys high awareness & expectation among viewers: Chrome DM Study

Star Plus Aarambh enjoys high awareness & expectation

Mumbai: Star Plus is set to launch a new historic fantasy series Aarambh on 24th June 2017 that is based on the centuries old drama of tussle between Dravidians and Aryans. The show has a huge expectation among the Hindi GEC market due to the extra ordinary richness in production standards and the top creators associated with the project.

The Research and Data Analytics firm Chrome DM has conducted an exclusive study on the launch awareness and expectations on the upcoming magnum opus Aarambh in comparison with the mood of the audience in the backdrop of historic trendsetter movie Bahubali.

The study has revealed that on-air promos on Television has created maximum awareness on the launch of Aarambh on Star Plus and the TV show is enjoying maximum awareness that is higher than Bahubali movie launch.

While 69% of the people among 7812 individual samples with whom the study was conducted responded that they have watched Bahubali movie 31% said they haven’t watched the movie.On the other hand, 73+% of the people who either watched and or didn’t watched Bahubali had responded that they are aware of the launch of Aarambh on Star Plus only 26% were unaware on the programe launch. This part of the study reveals the fact that Aarambh launch is enjoying very high awareness among the masses both in Urban and Rural audience that is even higher than the Bahubali movie itself.

In terms of expectation 73% of the audience were expecting a good story in Aarambh as Writer KV Vijayendra Prasad who also created Bahubali movie is writing Aarambh.

Moreover, 78% of the prople who watched Bahubali Movie and 66% of the people who didn’t watch Bahubali movie are very much aware of the launch date (24th June) of Aarambh on Star Plus.

The study also revealed the fact that the 9:00 PM time band is the apt time band with majority of the people responding favorably while 8:00 PM time band was the second best choice of the respondents.

90+% of the samples stated that they watched the promo of Aarambh on Television,only 7% watched in through alternative means.

The study conducted among 7812 samples from both Rural and Urban audience had 58% male and 42% female respondents. The samples include 18% of the people from 15 to 20 years of age, 29% from 20 to 30 years, 27% from 30 to 40 years and 26% from 40+ years.

Shristi Arya owned Production house Rose Audio Visuals is producing Aarambh. The company produced shows like Lipstick and Reporters in the past.

Aaranbh will be a infinite series which will consist of 65 episodes and its been directed by famous director Goldie Behl.
