Mumbai:In India, we can never deny the fact that women have always been constrained on every ground due to the wide gender gap dominated by men. But thankfully this trend has taken a drastic turn with an upward swing with women taking up charge of their own lives and making a change for themselves. Despite many constraints, some women had shine bright and made a mark in their chosen field. Be it science, sports, art, movies, business, entrepreneurship, aviation, law, education, trade; everywhere women are leaving a prominent mark of unmatchable success.

Is it easy? No! It’s not. But we are witnessing more cases of not only women empowering themselves butalso changing the face of many industries. While many women are achieving success in their respective fields, there are some who are creating space for other women to achieve success. Changing the phase of the industry one moment at a time and creating a platform for women to make a difference is what Ms. Sherina Kapany, the founder of sunSTRATEGIC, a digital marketing agency boasts of all-women management. She is not just an entrepreneur but a successful woman entrepreneur in a man’s world. In her agency ‘Woman are always on Top” and having a team of women who have made a start in the digital world and created a difference for companies with the revenues over 50,000 crore is a matter of pride here. sunSTRATEGIC is run by a woman, with several other women as its managing team. And they all are kicking dominant asses in the world of digital media.

We are living in a digital era, which is constantly growing and has opened a wider channel of communication for women to showcase their talents. sunSTRATEGIC, as a part of thedigitalworld, is helping nurture women from all education background and even those who have none and are willing to a mark in the marketing digitalisationworld.  The digital world is a pool of endless possibilities forwomen who are creative, who believe in themselves, who bring crazy ideas on the table and are not troubledwhile speaking to the client, regardless of her background. While many are having a women empowerment conversation in the Indian sub-continent, sunSTRATEGIC being the first women run and managed marketing in India is giving a robust start to women who have no place else to go.

Coming from a family that has always supported women to pursue their dreams, Ms Sherina has always been committed to the welfare of the women around; and as a part of digital media, she and her team of sunSTRATEGIChas successfully enriched the lives of women who have been a part of sunSTRATEGIC. As a pro bono project amongst others,sunSTRATEGIC has also worked for the NGO ‘Guria’ to increase their digital presence because raising voice and spreading awareness is more prominent on thedigital platform than traditional.

Today, while so many women are showcasing their talents on social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook etc. sunSTRATEGIC is one such industry fighting and giving back to the society through these mediums. Digital media is taking over traditional media,and the team of sunSTRATEGIC adapts it very well.

In sync with digital media, sunSTRATEGIC contributes to the empowerment of women as a dynamic and fierce force. It has become a source of powerful change throughout in India.

Churning out women alumni, it is safe to say that women are not only #MadeinIndia but are empowered enough to #MakeIndia.
