TAM Ratings of Top Hindi GECs for Week 51

Mumbai : As per the ratings of Hindi GEC for week 51 Colors, Life OK, SAB TV and Sony Entertainment TV increase in ratings with Zee TV emerging as the major gainer, while Star Plus which gained in week 50 saw a decline in week 51.

According to data from TAM for week 51 Star Plus took a plunge from 661 million GVTs in week 50 to 634 million GVTs in week 51. The channel saw growth for the past two weeks has witnessed a massive decline despite retaining the No.1 position in the market.

Colors strengthen to 500 million GVTs from 450 million GVTs previous week. This was an improvement from ratings of week 50 as it had seen a decline against week 49. It still retained second spot in the Hindi GEC ratings chart.

Zee TV saw its ratings increase decently better this week with 474 million GVTs against last week’s fall to 398 million GVTs from 419 million GVTs in week 49.

Life OK in the fourth spot saw its ratings increase to 327 million GVTs from 289 million GVTs last week The channel had taken a huge dip in its ratings last week as it slipped to 296 million GVTs in week 49 from 324 million GVTs in week 48.

SAB TV saw its ratings increase rise this week to 310 million GVTs from 288 million GVTs in week 50. Still at the fifth spot the channel saw its ratings rise last week too.

SET saw an increase in its ratings to 240 million GVTs in week 51 from 229 million GVTs in week 50.

Zee Anmol saw its ratings this week decrease to 85 million GVTs from 90 million GVTs in week 50. It was followed by Rishtey which saw a marginal decline in its ratings to 64 million GVTs in week 51 from 67 million GVTs in week 50.

Star Utsav saw an increase in its ratings this week as it rose to 72 million GVTs in week 51 from 62 million GVTs in week 50.

Big Magic continued to remain above Zindagi, Sony Pal, Sahar One and Epic. It remained at the same 60 million GVTs as it was in week 50.
