Mumbai: Tata Consultancy Services has been ranked among the Top 50 Most Valuable Global Brands in the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2025 Report. With a brand valuation of $57.3 billion, reflecting a robust 28% year-on-year growth, TCS now holds the #45 global rank, underscoring its rapid ascent in brand equity, awareness, and global favorability.
This recognition comes during the 20th anniversary edition of the Kantar BrandZ report, celebrated in a special ceremony held in New York. The accolade marks a significant milestone for TCS, affirming the brand’s long-term investments in strategic marketing, customer-focused innovation, and global outreach initiatives.
A recent independent brand audit by Momentum-ITSMA further demonstrated TCS’ growing global resonance, with aided brand awareness reaching 95% among business executives across 26 countries, a dramatic increase from 29% in 2010.
Martin Guerrieria, Head of Kantar BrandZ, said, “By drawing on the depth of BrandZ’s database over the last quarter of a century, our insights show that with the right level of investment and strategic focus, brands have huge potential to drive growth for their owners. TCS’ performance this year demonstrates its ability to innovate at scale with AI capabilities now running through its portfolios. TCS’ strategic sponsorship programmes continue to build a strong global presence and community around its brand.”
At the core of TCS’ brand evolution is its commitment to humanizing technology and delivering transformative experiences. The company’s sponsorship of 14 global running events, including five of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors—such as the TCS New York City Marathon, TCS London Marathon, and TCS Sydney Marathon—engages over 600,000 runners annually. In 2024 alone, these events contributed $2.25 billion to local economies and helped raise $279 million for charitable causes.
The campaign also delivered measurable brand impact, with a 30-point increase in brand familiarity and a 40-point increase in brand consideration—the highest among sponsors in the global marathon circuit.
Abhinav Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer, TCS, said, “For 20 years Kantar BrandZ has recognized the world’s most valuable brands. We congratulate them on this special anniversary edition of their brand excellence platform. Alongside the brand leadership we have in our industry, we are very pleased to see this recognition of the TCS brand amongst the world’s most iconic brands across industries. This growth in brand value, awareness and equity has been built on a range of high-impact long term marketing and communications programmes. Building a brand is indeed a marathon, yet I would like to thank all my colleagues in TCS for doing this long run, at the scorching pace of a sprint. Kudos to all of them.”
TCS continues to pioneer new frontiers—from creating the first-ever digital twin heart of a pro-runner, to deploying Agentic AI systems that autonomously reason and act across complex enterprise contexts. Through its collaboration with Jaguar TCS Racing Team in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, TCS showcases its leadership in intelligent engineering and sustainable innovation.
The company also garners accolades for its client relationships and employer brand. In 2025, TCS was ranked the #1 IT services provider in Europe for customer satisfaction by Whitelane Research and recognized as a Global Top Employer in over 30 countries by the Top Employers Institute.
This global recognition follows TCS’ leadership in the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Indian Brands 2024 rankings, where it retained the #1 spot for the third consecutive year. Anchored in Indian values and global relevance, TCS continues to drive dialogue in AI, digital transformation, and sustainability while expanding its digital footprint to engage the next generation of clients, talent, and partners.
