Hyderabad: T-Hub, a startup incubator, has announced the appointment of Kavikrut as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective March 10, 2025. The move reinforces Telangana’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, further cementing the state’s reputation as a premier startup hub.
T-Hub has been instrumental in supporting over 2,000 startups, providing them with global market access, deep industry collaboration, and cutting-edge incubation programs. With 17 years of leadership experience, including a decade at OYO as Chief Growth Officer, Kavikrut brings a wealth of expertise in scaling businesses, market expansion, and startup leadership. His tenure at OYO saw him expand operations across 100+ Indian cities, lead international expansion into Japan in collaboration with Yahoo! Japan and SoftBank Japan, and launch new ventures.
Welcoming the appointment, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for ITE&C and Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana, stated: “Kavikrut’s passion for startups, global experience, and hands-on operational skills make him the ideal leader for T-Hub. His leadership will play a crucial role in making India a powerhouse of entrepreneurship.”

With an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MSc in Finance from BITS Pilani, Kavikrut began his career as a healthcare startup founder before holding leadership roles at Amazon and Piramal Group. His leadership at T-Hub will focus on enabling startups to scale, achieve profitability, and maximize their global impact.
