Mumbai: TrueFan AI, an AI video platform for enterprises, has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round led by Baring Private Equity Partners India and Z3Partners. The round also saw participation from IAN Alpha Fund and 3Lines Venture Capital.
The funding comes as enterprises increasingly shift from text-based communication to video-led engagement, driving rapid adoption of AI-powered content creation platforms. TrueFan AI has emerged as one of the fastest-growing players in the category, scaling from 5 million to more than 20 million videos annually within a year and reporting 11-fold revenue growth over the past 20 months.
Founded to help enterprises create video content at scale, TrueFan AI has developed a foundational AI video model that enables organizations to generate on-demand videos without traditional production cycles. The platform currently serves over 100 enterprises and has built AI avatars for a diverse range of users, including Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, doctors, distributors, merchants and corporate leaders.
Its client roster spans sectors such as BFSI, healthcare, consumer goods and media, with brands including Bajaj Finance, Zomato, HDFC Bank, Axis Max Life Insurance, Cipla, BharatPe and Goibibo leveraging the platform for large-scale personalized video communication.
A key differentiator for the company has been its ability to create AI avatars of brand ambassadors and business leaders, allowing enterprises to generate significantly higher volumes of content from a single video recording. The company has created AI avatars for more than 150 celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant.
“AI has fundamentally changed the economics of video creation,” said Nimish Goel, Co-Founder and CEO, TrueFan AI. “It is inevitable that video generation will become as simple as typing an email. With that, video shall become the core layer of communication for enterprises. TrueFan is building the infrastructure for that inflection, enabling organisations to generate and distribute contextual video content on demand.”
The company’s technology enables a single five-minute video recording to be transformed into thousands of contextualized videos without requiring additional shoots. This capability allows enterprises to personalize communication across dealer and distributor networks, customer lifecycle journeys, digital marketing campaigns, social media, television advertising, and learning and development initiatives.
TrueFan AI’s platform can generate up to 500,000 videos per minute in more than 175 languages and integrates with enterprise systems such as CRMs, WhatsApp and RCS to facilitate large-scale content distribution.
Looking ahead, the company is expanding beyond video generation into real-time AI-powered interactions. TrueFan AI is currently developing AI video agents capable of dynamically engaging customers across use cases including customer support, sales, onboarding and product discovery. The technology is already being piloted with several enterprise clients.
The fresh capital will be used to support the company’s international expansion efforts and strengthen investments in AI infrastructure and enterprise deployments. While continuing to scale in India, TrueFan AI has also begun receiving inbound demand from Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
Commenting on the investment, Arul Mehra, Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners India, said, “The infrastructure for large-scale enterprise video communication simply hasn’t existed until recently. Budgets existed, intent existed, but production constraints prevented video from becoming a default enterprise channel. What gave us confidence in TrueFan AI was the feedback we heard consistently from enterprise customers. The platform is already deeply embedded in the workflows of some of India’s largest enterprises, which reflects both the strength of the product and the scale of the shift underway in enterprise video communication.”

Gautam Patel, Founder & Managing Partner at Z3Partners, added, “TrueFan AI is building a truly differentiated Video AI platform that enables large enterprises to scale revenues and customer success. We continue to invest in TrueFan AI and Nimish and his team.”

Highlighting the company’s technological edge, Sarika Saxena, Managing Partner, IAN Alpha Fund, said, “Building an AI video platform that matches global peers on quality at a fraction of their cost is hard. Doing it for a country where a customer in Pune and one in Coimbatore each expect to be spoken to in their own language, and pulling it off across 175+ languages, is what makes TrueFan rare. Nimish, Devender and the team have done exactly that, and we’re proud to back them as they take a category-defining AI company from India to the world.”
The funding announcement comes amid rapid growth in the global AI video market. International players such as Synthesia and HeyGen have reportedly crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue, highlighting the growing adoption of AI-generated video as a mainstream enterprise communication channel. TrueFan AI, which is targeting 50 million videos annually this year, is positioning itself to capitalize on this shift while building a globally competitive AI video platform from India.
