The accolade, conferred by the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to excellence in financial reporting and governance.
The SAFA BPA Awards, which recognize the best annual reports across South Asia, are a hallmark of transparency, accountability, and high standards in financial communication. SAFA, a regional partner of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), represents over 475,000 professionals across the South Asian accountancy community. The recognition underscores the critical role of corporate reporting in enhancing governance practices and fostering trust among stakeholders.
T.V. Today Network’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2022-23 was selected by SAFA’s Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability & Governance for its outstanding presentation, clarity, and adherence to international financial reporting standards. The company’s report set a new benchmark in the service sector, reflecting a strong commitment to financial transparency and accountability.
Earlier this year, the company’s Annual Report had also garnered the Silver Shield in the Service Sector category for “Excellence in Financial Reporting” from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). This recognition paved the way for the nomination at the SAFA BPA Awards, further cementing T.V. Today Network’s reputation for delivering high-quality financial communication.
The award was presented to Yatender Kumar Tyagi, Chief Financial Officer of T.V. Today Network, during a formal ceremony held on November 11, 2024, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, attended by distinguished leaders from the finance, business, and accounting sectors.
