Mumbai : Dr. Uday Nirgudkar has joined Network18 as the Group Editor Regional (West) for its Marathi news channel News18 Lokmat. Prior to his appointment with Network18, Uday was the Channel Head of Zee24Taas, of Zee Media. He has also been the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of DNA, an English newspaper from the same group.
Uday joins Network18 with over two decades of rich leadership experience. Apart from the media expertise he holds, he also has been in the top management positions in several other industries like Infrastructure, BPO, Education.
Uday is also a proud author of Marathi bestsellers such as Local-Global CEO and All about winning elections, and is the recipient of many awards for contribution and excellence in journalism.
The academics of this prolific speaker includes an MBA & Ph.D. from University of Pune & science graduate from Mumbai University. Uday has excellent understanding of socio-cultural- political fabric of Maharashtra.
