Bengaluru: Kannada entertainment channel, Udaya TV strengthens the weekend prime time slot with addition of two new non- fiction shows, Sadaa Nimmondhige and Savaalge Sye.
While Sadaa Nimmondhige is scheduled to be aired on every Sundays at 9 PM slot starting from 15th July, Savaalge Sye is slated for launch on the 14th of July and airs on ecery Saturday at 9 PM.
The reality show Sadaa Nimmondhige is hosted by yesteryear’s veteran actress turned television personality Julie Lakshmi, who has been in the film industry for 50 years now, and through this reality show she has made a comeback to Udaya TV.
Sadaa Nimmondhige brings in an unique format wherein common people from different walks of life are featured, its showcases the struggles they have faced to earn their livelihood and how they have picked up confidence and spirit to keep going forward despite their battles with life. The reality show aims to emphasize how small things can make a difference in a needy person’s life and spreads humanity and being for one another.
The reality show has gone a step forward to extend its alms and help these people financially with the support of celebrity guests from the sandalwood industry. Each celebrity is invited for each episode and for a day they take up the role of the common people and earn money by doing of an auto driver, selling goli soda, pani puri, sugarcane juice or of a petrol bunk attendant. The money earned by through this is being multiplied by 100 and presented to the person.
The launch episode of the reality show featured Narendra Kumar- an Auto Driver who is striving to make ends meet with the meagre income he makes daily. Kannada actor Dhruva Sarja takes the role of an auto driver in the first episode and raises funds for Narendra Kumar. Dhruva Sarja manages to earn a decent sum of money and the channel along with the star presented to Narendra Kumar a sum of money that is enough buy a new auto rickshaw.
Kannada stars like Sri Murali, Prem, Priyanka Upendra, Vijay Raghavendra, Srujan Lokesh, Manvitha Harish, Priyamani, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjay, Chiru Sarja will also be seen in the upcoming episodes of Sadaa Nimmondhige.The show is produced by Srujan Lokesh of Lokesh Productions.
Udaya TV will be launching another reality game show Savaalge Sye hosted by small screen actors Nithya Ram and Niranjan Deshpande. The game show will feature popular Kannada actors and personalities who will be divided into two teams of four and will be seen attempting to accomplish extremely hilarious challenges while having fun themselves. Losers in these challenges will have to complete hysterical tasks given to them additionally.
