Chennai: Tamil Entertainment channel Vijay TV has lined up an array of special programmes to freshly kick start the first day of New Year with Fun and entertainment.
The special line-ups from morning to night includes an assortment of shows, reviews , Special episodes and premier movies as following:
Nala neram- Rasi palan at 7 am : Astrology show in morning to know what their star sign has got for the viewers in this year.
Tamil cinema 2016 at 8 am: Tamil cinema has reached the next level with new age directors and also attracted the audience with some quirky songs. Right from Visaranai, Theri, Kabali to Remo, a round up on movies released in the year 2016.
Sirappu Pattimandram at 8.30 am: A special Debate show, Sirappu pattimandram this New Year on a debatable topic, Nammai Uruvakuvathu Netru Indru Naalai (Things that enlighten us are from past, present or future). The ace moderator Sugi sivam moderates this interesting debate.
Koffee with DD at 9. 30 am : A fun filled celebrity chat show with the ever handsome and stylish actor Suriya, hosted by the chirpy anchor Divya Dharshini. The actor will share his experiences and interesting facts about his much awaited movie Singam 3.
Where is the party special show at 4.30 pm: A fun loaded episode with fun games and tasks for the celebrities to welcome the year 2017. Popular faces of the channel like Rio, Pavithra, Britto, Sarath, Manoj, Dhina, Nisha, Anand, Madhumitha, Lokesh, Rhema, Franklin, Priya, Sunitha, Diwaker and Vishnu will be seen celebrating the new year eve.
Vijay TV has lined up some best movie premieres for a prosperous new year. Amma Kanakku @ 10:30 am, a women centric film written and directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. Film stars Actress Amala Paul, Actress Revathy and the director turned actor Samuthirakani. It’s about a maid, who tries to teach the importance of education to her daughter.
And for action packed entertainer, hindi blockbuster Bang Bang is telecasted in Tamil @ 10pm. It is an official remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day featuring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The movie was directed by Siddarth anand.
Vijay TV also airs the special episodes of weekend favourite shows like kalakka Povadhu yaru, connexions, Neeya nana and Jodi in their respective timings.
