There’s no ‘joy’ in this development. The storm weakened into a severe depression, but still caused widespread destruction across Gujarat as it made its landfall. Evacuation on a war footing helped saved lives. We cannot thank the people involved in disaster management and relief enough. Ever. But we can do with a wicked sense of humour, aided in good measure by the people updating us on news channels.

Merciless. The thrashing of the film has been quite harsh and one has to see it to understand whether it was with good reason. Since one doesn’t have the leaning for it, let us comment on the comments and leave it at that. Clearly, if there is a declaration that it is an adaptation of the original, then several of the irked voices are being unreasonable. They must look at the larger picture. If you want to propagate the ‘Jai Shri Ram’ message and take it to the masses, you have to speak in their language. Which Adipurush does. Puritans excuse.
Anti-National portals too wrote negative reviews on Adipurush. It wouldn't take much time for Hindus to fall in love with these. I too have my complaints on #Adipurush but I don't join your boycott campaign.

#Adipurush: #DisasterAdipurush #Adipurush fails to live up to its colossal expectations, leaving audiences disappointed. #OmRaut delivers a chaotic mess instead of an epic spectacle. #AdipurushReview #Adipursh #BoycottAdipurush #OmRaut #AdipurushDisaster #BoycottBollywood pic.twitter.com/Dqr5x049y2

The chatter has not died down and why would it? The G.O.A.T. debate should not ideally be decided by numbers but then numbers don’t lie. Heartwarming moments with family only add to the aura of this simple champion, who had to bide his time while others were in the spotlight.

The defeat in the World Test Championship final has expectedly got tongues wagging. One reasonable question, which was addressed by the bowling coach after day one of the test, was that R Ashwin should have been part of the playing eleven. In hindsight, there can be a hundred questions, especially when things go wrong. There are also calls for Ashwin to be made captain. There is reason in the argument, but one doubts if these channels of communication will be appreciated by the powers that be. Not that it would bother the player in question, who plays and says things fearlessly. Not surprised that his fans are toeing his line.
My next test captain :
For two reasons :
1. He can’t be dropped easily in important matches after anchoring team to finals twice.

India and Australia are in London contesting the World Test Championship final. And India have not selected the man who is quite possibly the best Test cricketer on the planet: Ravichandran Ashwin https://t.co/1Za5XgxQKz

And the saga goes on. While the anniversary arrives, things don’t seem to have changed on the ground. One is actually amused. If ‘Woman. Life. Freedom.’ was a treacherous international plot to topple the Iranian regime as some allege, could it not have been weeded out by this time? This is far too rooted in the pain of the common people. And every post communicates this pain to the world.
Reports indicate that indirect talks between the United States and Iran have been ongoing since December, amid Iran’s cruel and brutal crackdown on popular protests that were triggered by the vicious murder of #MahsaAmini#Iran #IranIsOurTemple
