Wizikey™ launches News Analytics Dashboard 'Wizdom' and Media Intelligence Metric 'Earned Media Authority'

Mumbai: IAN funded, Wizikey™, a PR-Tech software, launched media intelligence metric – Earned Media Authority (EMA) and a news analytics dashboard, ‘Wizdom’. With a data-driven approach, the real-time news analytics dashboard compares news from more than 200 news portals based on keywords.

With this the company forays into the intelligence software market, which is estimated at $3.5 billion in annual spend, and has grown at a 7% compound annual growth rate since 2013. As the needs of PR and marketing professionals converge, the PR and communications software market is beginning to converge with the marketing software market, which was estimated at $32 billion in 2018.

“Measurement and media intelligence is the key to unlock more interest for companies to see the tangible power of news coverage.  In this direction, we have taken the first step in the form of EMA, which is an idea that will continue to develop over the years,” said Aakriti Bhargava, Co-founder, Wizikey.

Wizdom enables a company to create a brand landscape. The software asks the user for brand keywords/competitor keywords and leadership names, churns a report on the created landscape in less than 30 seconds. In its beta version, EMA is a percentage of the landscape created by the user and measures only the online mentions of the brand and competition.

A survey by the firm, in association with OneSource, revealed that over 50% professionals find Excel sheets unproductive for maintaining data and coverage. Anshul Sushil, Co-founder of Wizikey, said on the launch of Wizdom, “We believe that this is the first step to creating a billion-dollar public relations industry. Having analytics that are beyond the obvious and enabling action that evokes real business results is the data-driven future of PR that we see.”

“Our serverless cloud technologies are geared to meet the demand of the new age communications professionals, and enable them to make strategic decisions based on actionable insights,” added Anshul.

With this, Wizikey resolves the problems the PR industry is facing – it has WiziDo (Workflow management to make tracking and reporting easy), WizConnect (repository of journalists) and Wizdom (media intelligence). Wizikey enlists 20,000 leading journalists across the country, thereby allowing its users to shortlist relevant journalists based using targeting based filters related to their businesses, industry, or competition. Wizikey also allows users to host collaterals up to 10GB for easy access on its ‘Brand Box’.
