Wondrlab names Shidush Contractor as COO – Influencer Marketing

Mumbai: Wondrlab, India’s platform-first marketing network, has announced the appointment of Shidush Contractor as Chief Operating Officer – Influencer Marketing. In his new role, Contractor will lead OPA and Opportune in totality, overseeing strategy, operations, and growth across Wondrlab’s influencer and creator ecosystem. He will report to Vandana Verma, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Wondrlab Network.

The appointment comes as Wondrlab formally takes its ‘Power of Total Influence’ approach to market, positioning influencer marketing as a connected influence system rather than a series of isolated campaigns. The model is designed to deliver measurable impact across the entire consumer journey by orchestrating multiple creators, formats, and moments over time.

Under this approach, influence begins with driving discovery and buzz at the top of the funnel through mass storytelling and social proof, builds relevance and consideration through credible micro and nano creators, and converts into action through precision-targeted, performance-first paid creator campaigns at the bottom of the funnel.

Within this framework, OPA and Opportune operate as integrated platforms, combining the scale of traditional influencer marketing, the precision of influencer technology and intelligence, and culture-led ideation. The model is designed to deliver reach, relevance, and results, supported by data, creator intelligence, and execution rigour.

Shidush Contractor brings deep operating experience across adtech, talent management, and creator-led businesses. Most recently, he served as Business Head – Middle East & North Africa at Qoruz, where he led regional expansion and worked closely with brands and agencies to scale influencer intelligence, measurement, and decision-making. Prior to this, he was Chief of Staff to the Group CEO at Collective Artists Network, operating at the intersection of talent, content, and brand partnerships.

Following these roles, Contractor built an independent practice within the creator and influencer ecosystem, supporting brands and platforms in moving from fragmented influencer activity to more structured, repeatable growth systems.

In his new role at Wondrlab, Contractor will focus on integrating capabilities across OPA and Opportune, strengthening operating frameworks, improving accountability and measurement, and enabling brands to activate influence across the funnel through a cohesive mix of talent, technology, and creativity.
