Xflow turns a simple “this is your cab” message into a high-impact brand moment

Mumbai: At AIBoomi (formerly SaaSBoomi), Xflow took an unconventional route to visibility—by showing up not on stage, but in a message.

As founders arrived in Chennai, their first interaction wasn’t with the event venue, but with a WhatsApp message: “This is your cab.”

Accompanied by an image of the assigned cab—branded with Xflow—the platform became part of the founder’s journey even before it began.

Extending this experience into the physical world, Xflow branded cabs across Chennai, ensuring that the same cab seen on screen carried founders from the airport to the venue. The activation focused on a simple insight: in an otherwise packed and noisy event environment, relevance matters more than visibility. Xflow chose to be present at a moment when founders are most likely to notice—during transit, in a personal, uncluttered setting.

The idea quickly translated into a highly shareable moment. Founders organically began posting photos and screenshots of their cab experiences on social media, amplifying the campaign far beyond its physical footprint, and garnering an overall reach of over half a million impressions.

At the same time, the activation sparked offline conversations as well—with shared rides turning into spaces for networking, product discussions, and first impressions of the event.

Anand Balaji, Co-founder at Xflow, said, “We knew we didn’t want to compete for attention where everyone else already was. The real question for us was – when does a founder actually notice something?It’s in simple, personal moments—like receiving a message with their cab details, or sitting in that cab after landing. We wanted to show up there, in a way that felt natural and relevant, not disruptive.”

The activation extended beyond attendees, with Xflow-branded cabs moving across Chennai during the event, creating broader visibility across the city’s startup and business ecosystem.

This campaign comes at a significant time for Xflow, following its $16.6 million Series A funding round led by General Catalyst, with participation from Square Peg, Stripe, Lightspeed, Moore Capital, and PayPal Ventures. With backing from both Stripe and PayPal Ventures, Xflow is the first Indian fintech to be supported by the world’s two largest payments infrastructure platforms.

By focusing on contextual relevance over conventional visibility, Xflow’s AIBoomi activation demonstrates how B2B brands can create impact—not by being louder, but by being present where it matters most.
