Mumbai: JioStar has appointed Zergo Vijayaraj as Vice President – Programms for Malayalam Language. In his new role, Zergo will be responsible for driving programming strategy and content initiatives across the network in Malayalam Cluster.
Prior to joining JioStar, Zergo served as Chief Operating Officer at A2Z Entertainers_Movie Productions.
Announcing his appointment on LinkedIn, Zergo said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President Programms at JioStar!”
Zergo brings over 15 years of experience across television, films, and digital media. His career spans leadership roles at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited, Star TV Network, and Sun TV Network, along with extensive work in the Malayalam film industry, where he began his career as an Associate Director.
With a strong background in public relations, media production, broadcasting, and creative content, Zergo has worked across executive and reality television, film production, digital media, and content strategy. His expertise includes end-to-end content production, media strategy, and creative execution across platforms.
