Skybags presents its latest digital campaign – ‘Wacky Wanderers’

Mumbai: Skybags brand from the house of India’s leading luggage company V.I.P Industries, has announced its latest digital campaign ‘Wacky Wanderers’. Delivering on the core essence of being a quirky and stylish brand, through this campaign Skybags aims to connect with young travel buffs who look at travel with a sense of craziness.“Wacky Wanderers’’ will offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity to the youth to realize their out-of-the-box travel dreams.

Starting today, ‘Wacky Wanderers’ will be launched through a special micro-site at Skybags.co.in where participants need to share their quirkiest and offbeat travel plan with Skybags. The concept is to get travelers to think creatively about their travel plans in India and come up with quirky ways in which they would want to experience a place differently.

VarunDhawan, Brand Ambassador, Skybags will then personally review all the entries and decide on the lucky winner whose wacky idea will be brought to life by Skybags. Participants are also in for a great ride as Skybags will give away a new backpack daily to the wackiest entry of the day.

Announcing the launch of this campaign VarunDhawan, Brand Ambassador – Skybags says, “Travelling is a way of finding oneself and one cannot do that by simply being a tourist. It’s all about getting beyond that initial phase of being a tourist and becoming a wanderer. A wanderer sets out to do something remarkable and will always get off the beaten track to really discover a place. This is a great opportunity for travelers to have their craziest travel plans fulfilled. I am really excited to see what participants come up with.”

Commenting on the marketing strategy SudipGhose, Vice President-Marketing, V.I.P Industries, says, “As a brand, Skybags always strives to be innovative, offering something unique to our consumers. Travelling is all about experiencing something new and the youth are constantly looking for just that. This digital outreach is a great way to engage with our audience and it also gives us an insight into how our consumers think. Through this campaign, we want our audience to be adventurous and take the liberty to think of the craziest things they would want to do on their travels across India and one lucky winner will get a chance to live this dream. It’s time to be Wacky now!”

In order to participate, users simply have to log on to the microsite http://www.skybags.co.in/wacky-wanderers/and submit their entry which they will be able to share on their social media pages.  The campaign will see heavy promotion on the brand’s social media platforms.
