Mumbai: Music Broadcast Limited has roped in Ashit Kukian as its CEO as Abraham Thomas has resigned from the post of CEO of the Company with effect from September 30, 2018 to pursue other business interests
The Nomination and Remuneration Committee at its meeting held today i.e. Thursday, August 23, 2018 has inter alia considered the resignation of Abraham Thomas and appointment of Ashit Kukian and Music Broadcast Limited has communicated the same to stock exchange.
Ashit Kukian was earlier Chief Operating Officer of the Company till 2015. He will closely work with Apurva Purohit, Director and Mentor of the Company to manage the operations as hitherto.
Ashit Kukian is an experienced leader with a proven track record of running large media businesses, with demonstrated ability to work with high performance teams to build and scale businesses within a competitive environment. He has deep knowledge across various media platforms such as print, broadcasting (TV and Radio), with over 30 years of hands-on experience across organisations such as Times Network, Radio City, ITV Network, Laboratories Garnier Paris, Berger Paints and Johnson & Johnson.
